According to vendors at Da Lat Market, many of the flower trees on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street along the central market (pictured) are over 60 years old. These were the first royal poinciana trees brought from South America to be planted in Da Lat. The flowers were then propagated and planted in many areas.
Some places for tourists to take beautiful photos of royal poinciana flowers are located in the central area such as Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Tran Phu, Hoang Van Thu, Hai Ba Trung streets, around Xuan Huong Lake.
